Please Help Identify this Coin or the Country of Origin

I've spent some time researching and can't locate in my World Coins and Currency book, nor on the internet.

british trade dollar. If you're looking in the world standard coins, I think it's listed toward the end of the GB section, because it wasn't minted for issue domestically........

should find plenty of info on them around. that one has a funky look to the obv. looks like it deserved a weighing/sizing.

    39 mm, 27 g?
  • Thanks! The coin is 39mm, but weight is 20.94g, not looking good for authenticity, huh.

    Thanks,

Especially ones that are coming out of Commie China! If you see anyone from either China or Indonesia selling coins on FleaBay,DO NOT BID ON THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! There is a lot of scams on FleaBay that originate in both China & Indonesia.

If it is too good to be true, then it is anyway!
