    wow, that's an interesting one! my gut feeling is, a 1550-1650 copper coin of the Spanish Netherlands....next best guess, a 1500's to early 1600's coin of Sweden....but if its Sweden, probably more likely 1500's since it doesnt look like any 1600's coin of Sweden I've seen.

    Wow, I thought I'd never see the day that DCH had to ask about a coin. BTW, I can't answer it any better than Coach.

    thinking about it more, probably 1500's Italian States should be thrown into the mix too

    The coat of arms looks like that of Batenburg (Low countries). This example on CoinArchives shows the arms best.

    Thanks for the responses. It think Sap got it.
    I had been looking at Italian states, and was about to move to random German states....

    Jester- After 10 or so hours of searching with no progress, I decided to take the easy way out and post it here image
