    "SIT NOM D BENEDICTUM" is an abbreviated Latin verse of scripture: sit nomen Domini benedictum, "Blessed be the name of the Lord". This verse is most commonly found on French coins but, as you have found, it's also used on coins of other countries.

    Thank you both!!! I was searching french but my instinct was for the 3 Kreuzer, but I couldn't find an exact image...

    ok, finally found a reference to collaborate my coin. I was able to find other references to a swiss coin, but one site had a different design.
