Another Phunny Matte on ebay

But, I've quit the Posse, so if anyone wants to inform the gentleman that his coin has rounded off center rims, and no diagnostics....go for it.

Anytime I see a 10% of final sale "restocking fee" for a coin... a distinct smell of halibut wafts past me.

    Link.

I saw this one the other day. Not an MPL.

What do you mean, you've quit? Isn't this just like the Mafia or any other gang affiliation where we decide your fate in our own methods?

    Yup. Quit.

After the posse blew that last call on the 16 that anacs slabbed, I've decided nothing makes any sense or logic.

As I get older I've learned to keep my mouth shut more.

Hell, I learned that long ago just by being married.

The Posse did not fail its mission on that 1916, Very much the opposite. The comments, questions, answers (even within ones self) caused the coin to get CONFIRMED. Nice job I think.

No the posse screwed the 1916 up. A few guys were willing to buy and save some money. That auction was a case that should have been left alone. It was not mis represented and a collector could have made a great purchase for his collection. The seller had no issues doing it the way she had listed it.

I bought at least 3 mpls last year that were talked about on here as not MPL's. Anacs certified all of them as original. Wether anacs knows the difference between a matte and a business strike may be ?? I bought one from a dealer in New York last year that was on the weekly list came back cleaned.

I agree. So, while I may bring some things to the attention of this gathering...I'm done dealing with sellers on ebay.

Hopefully, I'll find someone selling my 'current' obsession for a fraction of its value...and I can scoop it up for ten bucks.

...and I'll bet NO one can guess what the obsession is!image
