Ebay auctions....the new view stinks! Any way to bring them up with the old view?

The last coupld days when viewing auctions, the format they come up in is totally different. Any idea if you can switch back?? (I am not viewin the Beta version cuz it gives me that option at the top of the page)

Thanks-
Claude

Isn't there an "opt out" option to click on?
  • I couldn't find an opt-out option for this new view either. So I emailed customer service and asked how to switch back to the old view. I never got a reply but about a day later every item I looked at was back in the old view.

  • I signed out. Then clicked on advanced search. It gave me the option to opt out.
  • ebay. without them what would we complain about ?
  • You can click on this "opt out" option. It's a link that was given on the ebay community boards. Hope this helps.

  • Ebay is constantly making changes that aren't needed. They feel the need to make changes to the format that has been time tested over a long period of time and that people feel comfortable using.

That perfectly defines the circumstance and likely predicts the consequences.

What I know for sure is that if you change a familiar shopping environment - without
actually making it better - current users have near-ZERO incentive to learn and adapt
to the changes. There are NOW many viable online-shopping venues. If buyers are
forced to "relearn EBAY," they may as well simply move to a NEW venue and learn
    that venue.

    .............

MANY buyers in my categories have emailed me that they are GONE, and asked that
I put stores on other sites.

On its current path, EBAY will soon have nothing to offer non-collectors other than
inferior WMT Chi-Com junk that is much cheaper to buy at WMT.

  • it seems like I have to opt out every time I clear my cache. Pain in the arse.
