  • Great trade for Detroit. With the emergence of Rodney Stuckey as their point guard it should work out well for them.

Denver gets rid of AI who was not getting it done there. Detroit will now have a big time scorer but will change the good chemistry that the Pistons always had. Biillups will give Denver a solid point guard now which should help JR Smith and Melo.

I dont understand why the Nuggets, after dumping camby's contract for nothing and obvoiusly in a rebuilding faze, didn't hang onto Iverson's expiring contract to make a run at bron bron in '10? I heard that is what the Pistons now intend to do.

Nuggets, rebuilding, take on 2 declining vets without expiring contracts (at least Billups' isn't)

    I dont get it.

I don't think there's any way that L. James would have went to Denver, and I'm pretty sure that Motown doesn't fit his persona, either...

Yea, I'm not sure that I agree with it, just what I heard.

Regardless of Lebron's interest level in going to denver, I don't see why the nuggets are taking back a non expiring for an expiring contract when they are clearly dumping a month ago (camby)?

Not sure if I like the deal or not. I liked it a little better when I heard Detroit is getting McDyess back, as apparently Denver is just paying off his contract and he's heading back to Detroit as a FA. Antonio is one of their more reliable shooters, so I really didn't want to lose him. As for Chauncey, he's been up and down over the last couple of years. He's a solid guy, but Detroit needed more scoring and you couldn't really depend on him for that. His point skills are good and he can hit the big clutch shot. I'll miss the guy, but Detroit did need to do a little changing to help try to get over the Eastern Conference Finals hump.

Wonder why Denver won't hold onto McDyess, could use him this year.
