Very lovely!
I like it very much. Is that the true color or is it just the photo?
I only have a few from Nova Scotia and none are like tone.

as far as the color goes, i dunno. These are the seller's pics, and i'm not risking much so i figured i'd chance it.

Bet you will find it will be a great chocalate brown. Not dark dark but brown. The ones I have and they look great.

I agree. Maritime bronzes in general are very cool. I like the designs for Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI.

Nice pickup! 1861 Nova Scotia large cent, large bud variety, EF condition, value = C$22
The large bud variety refers to the rose bud next to the A of SCOTIA.
It could use a bath in EVOO and a very gentle cotton swab massage to remove the "critters" around the legend.

Wow Fritz, those are some amazing examples. I love that 1/2 cent.
Anyone have a nice PEI cent to show off? I'm still looking for a nice one. Preferably from 1871.
