Sports Cards shops in Orange County, CA

Hi all,

Are there any recommended card shops in the OC? I'm looking for one that has a decent inventory at reasonable prices of unopened packs/boxes from the 1970s to the present.

Thanks,

Mike

No. Closest decent one to OC is CJ's in San Diego or bubank sportscards in LA. Beverly Hills Card Shop is also pretty good, but it's the dregs in between. There are a few shops, but it's all modern crap.

I haven't delt with any shops in the O.C. area, but you can check PSA's dealer list to see who is out in the area or you can check the local business listings online and type in Anaheim for a city. That will bring up all the shops out there. Do you live in the OC or planning a visit?

Here is a shop in the O.C. I've seen on ebay before, but haven't bought from them. They seem to sell packs and boxes. Click on their ebay store link on their website.

Link didn't come through but if it is surf city cards that is Baseball Cards Plus in Huntington Beach. I didn't see anything real exciting there last month but they have been there for over 20 years so they must be doing something right.

Actually, I used to go there quite a lot. But then their inventory deteroriated, so ...

    Thanks for the message, though.
  • I used to live in O.C. back in the late '80s and early 90's and at that time I was putting together high grade sets of 1953 & 1956 topps baseball. Without question the shop that had the most and best high quality vintage cards was SportscardsPlus in Laguna Niguel. Even as far back as the mid 80's they had a national mailing list of customers. I wasn't in to unopened material at that time so I don't know what they have in that regard. I've heard they are still in business so I would definitely give them a call.
