    Yes, the Phillies won. Richie Ashburn hit three home runs and Robin Roberts won two games and the Series MVP.

    Every year I find it harder and harder to really give a damn about what's happening in the world of televised sports. If it wasn't for the fact that I usually have the TV tuned into ESPN when I'm sorting through cards to send to PSA I'm probably wouldn't know anything about what's going on in MLB or the NFL. I'd probably still watch hockey, but that's about it.

    Good for him. I don't think he deserves it, but in every interview I see with him he seems like an intelligent and thoughtful guy.

    Etched in stone? Wow your philly fans sure have turned into an arrogant lot. Good thing we never have to worry about the eagles winning the super bowl - I can't imagine the ridiculous posts that would soon follow. "McNabb is the best QB ever!' "Andy Reid weighs less than 500 lbs!" and so on and so forth.

    I'm sure Chase Utley appreciates your support, turning your back on him and embracing a guy worth less to his team, simply because he hit more home runs but was a tremendous defensive liability.

    Hopefully Utley goes to a team where he'll be appreciated.
