I ordered it on 10/21 and the status went to backorder soon after I placed my order. I hope it sells out quick or it may be going back in a few weeks.

    Going to be a long time before it sells out, if ever.

    The numismatic value is dead, the Mintage is now above the 2006 W $25's and the Metal Play is not worth the price premium for this size unit.

    My 10 2008 W's $25's headed back to the US Mint on Monday.

    A better plan would be to wait until Tuesday for Eric J's sales report, last week's was very suspect. That's what I am doing as 2008 W sales on der Bay aren't very encouraging.

    Well, thats bad to hear - I thought that the 08 mintage was still below the 06. Does anyone have a compilation of the 06 mintages? I did a quick google search and couldn't find it.

    Who is Eric? The guy that compiles the mint stats for Numismatic News?
