help, want to recover a sold item on ebay.

there's one item i had sold about 5 years back, my local card dealer posted it on his ebay auctions, i want to know the name "ebay user screenname" of the person who bought it, if anyone can help me out in this, it would be greatly appreciated, the only thing i kick myself for selling, due to money reasons at the time, was that.

ebay auction item number: 2748538892
auction link (invalid): auction link (invalid)
seller: bigtiger123
date: between august 20, 2003 to september 10, 2003
buyer: ????????

    Are you sure that's the correct auction number?

    EBAY can easily walk you back about 2+ years; not much further.
    Email them (T&S) and ask them how to look at everything you ever
    bought; follow their instructions.

    THAT won't help you here.

    The point is 2+ years is all they will show you. They likely have it
    all.

    ////////////////

    Look at the FB of the seller - left/rcd - between on or about 9-20-03 and 10-10-03.

    Copy the names of all buyers listed. Look at their current buying/selling. Contact
    the ones with listings, who appear to be into sports collectibles. Tell them your
    story.

    ////////////////

    Nam is likely correct.

    Probably easier to buy a nice new one. You can then always keep an eye out
    for your old one in future listings.

    ///////

    You could also contact bigtiger123 direct, if you can find him. He might have
    some old records. (You can use toolhaus.org to find some userID name changes.)

    Your best bet right now would probably be to check out bigtiger123's feedback, and see if you can match your Auction ID number with feedback either left or given.

    thank you, appreciate it, i guess it will be easier just to talk to the seller, though i dont want to bother him and make him look at old emails and through his files, especially 5 years plus, which im doubtful he'll have.

    FACK!

    That item number isn't found in his feedback anywhere...left for and received by...

    and this isn't even working

    As an aside:

    Some time ago, I offered toolhaus a $1K donation if they could grab
    a sale that went down in late 2004. They could not, and neither could/would EBAY.

    I needed it for a court case. EBAY got me close to the time, but missed it by a few months.

    I think many of the shorter digits are now purged from toolhaus.

    A blind try would be to hit google and some other search engines
    with the number. You never know; they claim they "keep everything."
