Ok Statehood Silver quarter question about PCGS,NGC vs ICG

Ok I hope I can get some serious opinions here. I recently saw 2 Pcgs 70 Delaware silver statehood quarters on Teletrade that sold for $10,000 and $9,500.

My question is what are the Ngc and Icg Delaware silver statehood quarter in 70 grade worth. Can you really compare. thanks

  • No, no comparison.

Edited to add, if someone had a NGC or ICG 70 they thought would cross to PCGS 70 they would do so, as prices realized say there is no comparison.
imageQuid pro quo. Yes or no?
  • In spite of the low pops, I think they were out of their mind. What do you think that will do for the 1999 Proof Set? I have 5 of them that I will sell for $2K each.

No comparison whatsoever. Take at least one zero off the PCGS price for the other two.
    When in doubt, don't.

It is still my opinion that there is very little, if any, difference between a 69 and a 70. It takes a whole lot of kool-aid to pay these prices for a 70 when 69's are everywhere. Yeah, I know... "it's super rare in 70 PLASTIC", but some people still look at the coin in the plastic, and most of those people would settle for the SAME coin with 69 on the plastic.

a 69 does now allow one to claim they have the finest known set
in the registry. i imagine that is where these coins end up. on a website
in a registry no one really cares about. Just look at the amount of hits
popular sets get that have counters in the html and imagine what
the other sets get hit wise. 1-4 hits a month? oi.

Do they go primarily into registry sets? Or to speculator / investor types? I don't know, but I'd guess the latter.
