My first submssion(NGC)

I checked the online status of six coins I recently submitted to NGC. A 2003 Sac is a PF69 UC; not bad for ten bucks. Donna's thrilled, she bought this at the 2nd coin show we wen to. I say PCGS next, seems that's where the money is. I also got 2 MS69 06 ASEs, a PF69 rev proof ASE, a PF65 64 Kennedy and a MS65 70-d Wash. Cheezy run but, my first. However I predicted the Kennedy right on the nose, but the Wash: I disagree. It's flawless. I predicted 66 to 67m might be lacking luster.

I like submitting to Ngc. Being a novice, i can learn my grading lessons cheaper than submitting to pcgs. As i build more confidence, i will resubmit the better ones to pcgs in order to get better prices when i am ready to sell them.

Not to promote a thread about the competition on this board (I'm funny like that) but the Sac isn't worth submitting to PCGS, imho. The grade you got was expected. You can get them cheaper than it costs to submit, most of the time, when you include shipping both ways. Unless you are a volume submitter, it isn't worth sending these in.
For the 2006 ASEs, you didn't put the "W" so I assume these are the standard bullion ones? Again, most likely not worth paying to get slabbed as they are somewhat common.
The PR69 rev proof.....that isn't bad and is still worth sending, imho, to at least 1 of the services. If you get a PR70 out of it, it is a good score, but you can't get that for a crossover.

Kennedys and washingtons aren't my thing so I have nothing on that.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Hi Boch,
I'm quite new and it was a learning experience, nothing more. Sac? Worth? My wife picked it up and was thrilled, also ecstatic finding out it came back a 69; that was worth more than a 33 Double Eagle in 2005.

We all have different interests and preferences...hopefully the experience was educational.

Sounds like it was positive for you...
