Baltimore Coin Shops?

I will be in Baltimore and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good coin shops? Any that have a lot of silver dollars? Thanks in advance. Jim

There aren't any coin shops that I'm aware of in Baltimore but if you want to do some venturing outside the city, there are a few.

Metro Coin - Jessup, Maryland (15 min. from Baltimore)

    Golden Eagle - Laurel, Maryland (25 min. " ")

    Gaithersburg Coin Exchange - Gaithersburg, Maryland (1 hour, 15 min. " ")

    Hope this may help.

I recommend Julian Leidman in Silver Spring, Maryland. He's about an hour southwest of Baltimore. I think the name of his shop is Bonanza Coin but you can go here for more info.

When were you last there? I remember a coin shop on Charles Street but it closed several years ago.

I am in downtown Silver Spring and am here most of the time. Please make sure to call, 301 585 1480, to double check, as if I am not here, the store is closed.

Paul Simkin has Baltimore Gold and Silver and they are just north of the Baltimore Convention Center.

Metro is the closest after that in Jessup, Golden Eagle, second in Laurel, Gaithersburg CE, the furthest, and Coins of the Realm in Rockville are all within an hour of downtown Balt.

Milt Lynn of Harford CE in northern Balt. is another great guy.

You can really have your hands full if you have some time in the Balt/Wash area.
