One of my favorite holed specimens, not sure if this constitutes scary, she looks scary to me. The 12 notches on the edge are cut with exacting precision. Any ideas what they represent? Scott

that's weird...and neat! no clue. I was thinking it was from where-ever the coin was resting, but the notches look intentionally cut
Someone dropped it on the road or in a parking lot and more than a few cars drove over it before someone found it and spent it.

This silver half went through hell and back. The lines on the reverse are raised above the coin. Sure would like to know what happened.
