What is your opinion about this.

PCGS MS65 Common date Walkers are selling on ebay for 15-20% less than the PCGS price guide.

Also note the high beg bid. No more 99c "Lets have a true auction," statements. In an hour, 3 will go and let's see the price.

Is this a fluke or the beg of a trend and will PCGS drop the price in their guide.

And What the hell do I know. Nothing. Could someone help me out on this one.

Thank you R.

Guides are a guide, not the Holy word.

Ever meet someone who PAID 400 for a 99 silver proof set????? OH HELL NO.

  • Thank you for the welcome. I read that PCGS bases their price on dealer to dealer transactions. Not ebay.

I was in town today and the store I was in has laid of 50% of staff. Even the roads are partly empty.

Maybe Monday night football. Maybe not. Market looked good today until the last hour.

  • The market determines value.

However, there are some pieces with "value" which is about as real as the odds of me being an albino lesbian leather bound nun. Which, I am not.
  • Well here is the news. All Walkers were PCGS MS65 listed by Heritage.

1944s had one bid from a dealer and sold for 450. PCGS lists this in green at 620.

Two 46D's did not sell. Opening bid was 130 on one and 120 on the other. PCGS lists them at 170.
