New eBay gamble - some British Copper

Been scrounging the Bay lately, looking for stuff to use the MSN Cashback on, when I stumbled across the coin below. Looks like it has potential. The seller's pics are done on a scanner, so it may have some lustre (hoping image ); looks like it should be an XF. Rims look fairly decent for the type; a little hit to the right of the date.

$92 - $22 = $70 net after MSN cashback. Figure it's worth a gamble... we'll see when it arrives. image

Looks to be a score....I do not care if these are relatively common, I like them and this appears nice and perhaps nicer once in hand!

I think that you'll be pleasantly surprised when it arrives...it looks to me like the photos are slightly washed out, so the coin probably has original color.

2d according to seller. We'll see though; many (including myself) have gotten it wrong when identifying these pieces over the years.

I call it XF for sure.
Here is my poor example. I love it but it had a rough time.

Them 2d's are pretty thick... I sent mine to PCGS, they just sent it back saying "no service." If it won't slab, I can't keep it. grumble... the GIII stuff is very cool!

    I think coinpictures scored! woot-woot!
