OK, this is interesting, a good chance to compare a couple of similar looking coins side-by-side. most of the time when an AU58 is confounding everyone it comes down to the simple fact of broken luster, something accentuated on a coin like the Isabella Quarter because luster is usually lacking to begin with. that's probably why the OP's coin got graded AU58 and it looks in the picture like it has a few areas of visible rub which shows it to be properly graded. as for the "other" coin, although it looks to have areas of rub those are actually the result of a weak strike, also common on the issue.
what caused me to purchase the coin i have as my Type piece was the attractive tone and these two look almost like twins!! they'd be nice to see together.
