T.C.G. - I've heard it means Topps Chewing Gum Company. I've also heard it means Trading Card Guild. Which is it? If it means Trading Card Guild, what does that phrase even mean and why would Topps use it?

(BTW - love your avatar. Rushmore is one of my favorite movies.)
Now, having seen the vending boxes and the packs that say "Trading Card Guild", do you guys still think it stands for Topps Chewing Gum? (That may sound like a smart alack comment, but it was a serious question). In other words, was that just your strong opinion, or do you know for sure that it stands for Topps Chewing Gum?

TCG was used by Topps both ways, as Topps Chewing Gum and Trading card guild.

<< <i>Thanks for the pictures of the packs and the vending boxes. At least now I don't look like a total idiot.

The little trade mark line on the back of cards that says TCG is certainly Topps Chewing Gum. It was used well before they started inserting cards with their gum.

Google free masons of america or free masons. It is borderline conspiracy theory, but just borderline.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Randy...have you been day dreaming about that day in 1967 again?
