Quick poppage on the $6 special! Rec: 10/15, Graded 10/23 - updated 10/27 with scans

A pretty good sub. A bunch of pop 1 PSA 10 Clarks, and a few PSA 9s with no 10s yet.

I wonder if the POP 1 Schmidt and POP 2 Ryan PSA 10s will pay for this submission?

    well don digi!

I gotta believe that Pedroia will out-sell that part. Ryan card though...
I'd guess that Schmidt should bring you $30-45... just a guess though.

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

The white is actually not on the surface of the card, but the result of a slight rough cut (OPC style).

I'm not familiar with the Post Cereal issue. Was it a card that had to be popped out of a sheet?

I noticed what appears to be pull tabs on the corners

I would be very happy to purchase that Schmidt sticker directly, if you are interested in selling.

    Please contact me at mschoenen@gmail.com

    Cheers

Great turnaround time. I had a 20 card sub on the special rec same day as yours, also included another 5 day sub which has been graded but still dont have in hand. The other hasnt even been graded yet. Have to wonder what they do with the cards while they are there to have some that have already been graded and some that have not

All the cards have those little tabs. They were distributed via 3 card packs, which were inserted into boxes of cereal back in 1990.

The tabs seem to be a result of the cutting process from the factory. Maybe they were printed on perferated sheets, then machine seperated?

Wow, the Nolan Ryan PSA 10 went untouched at auction with a starting bid of 24.99/dlvd.

I figured it'd get at least $50. Oh well.

The Mother's cards are my favorite SGA/Odd Ball/Regional Food issue ever, ESPECIALLY since they have cards of Will Clark and Matt Williams in their rookie years. Mother's Cookies doesn't do cards any more, but Emerald Nuts teamed up with Topps to start producing the SGA (stadium give-away) sets, which is where that Lincecum comes in.

Looks like I did pretty well with putting that Ryan and the Schmidt in the sub. Sold them for $100 each. That covers the grading fees, shipping, and a trip to Starbucks.

So, in a way, I got my cards into their pretty little slabs for free. image

Nice poppage and turnaround. I have also always liked the Mother Cookies cookies card. Their clean look was either very retro...or ahead of their time.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
