BGS offers to Pedigree yoursubmissions for $3 extra per card.. would you ever do this?

    As does GAI.

    It would be really neat to have www.billripken.com on all my FF versions, but to pay to have them all re-done..I'll pass.

    $3 seems bit much... but not too outrageous. I would entertain the notion on my Sabo's, but only because they'll never be sold to anyone else.

    I gotta believe it would hurt any chance of re-sale in MOST cases.

    It would only help major collections like say Keith Olberman or Dimitri Young's. I can't imagine anyone would want "Joe the plumber collection" on their PSA 8 Dan Marino RC.

    Your passion for the Bill Ripken FF card amazes me...
    You definitely fall under the true collectors mentality as does the Sabo guy...

    Most people are stuck on the investment value piece that a true ballsy collector approach is hindered.

    Life would be so simple if I could do that also.

    PSA does it as well. I know Steve Soloway has all of his cards pedigreed, and Charlie Sheen did. They even did some anonymous ones for "Mr. X" who was too famous to have his name on there, at least as the story went.image
    But they wouldn't do it for hobby icons like Lionel Carter, so I have no idea where the line is drawn.
