PSA Collectors Club Update – Collecting Sports Legends

PSA Collectors Club Update – Collecting Sports Legends
To all of our loyal PSA customers,
I want to personally apologize for the delay in receiving your copy of our 2008 book – Collecting Sports Legends.
As many of you know, one of the benefits of joining the PSA Collectors Club – as of June 15, 2008 – is that each member will receive a copy of this 376-page, full color and hardbound book. The book is also being used in a variety of other ways and will be available for purchase in bookstores and on websites.
After experiencing a lengthy and unanticipated delay, a large shipment of our books finally arrived about a week ago. The bottom line is that the quality of the printing, or lack thereof, was simply unacceptable. In turn, we declined the shipment.
Our staff has worked too hard on this project and, more importantly, we did not want to send our great customers a product that was sub par in our opinion.
The publisher has assured us that the new printer will be able to produce what we contracted for, a book of exceptional quality.
The bad news is that the delay will continue until around the first of the year. Assuming that this new print run is acceptable, PSA will immediately begin mailing the books at that time.
The good news is that anyone who has signed up for the PSA Collectors Club since June 15, 2008, will receive the book.
We are excited about using this book to help attract new collectors to our wonderful hobby and help active collectors expand their horizons. We certainly hope you enjoy it.
I really appreciate your patience and understanding.
Sincerely,
Joe Orlando

Sweet Morsels Toffee and Chocolates
It has sections on cards, auto's, packs and photos. It is a coffee table style book and if I am not mistaken the book weighs a few pounds.
Believe me; we really are disappointed that we couldn't use them.
