PCGS Website- "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items" message

This pop up is driving me nutz....anyone else??

How can I avoid this pop up??

What page are you going to using a secure link? (change the beginning of your url from https to http)

It only does it when I'm in my account, which is https://

Once I'm in, every time I hit a different submission number, it asks me the same question.

It never used to do this....just started this afternoon.

What browser and version are you using?


For IE6 --> Check out Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level > Miscellaneous > Display mixed content. By default its set to prompt, reset it to Enable.

I did that in IE7...did not work.

I started getting it just today!

I expect that they've changed to a more secure setting for the Personal PCGS Page!

I find it irritating but for whatever reason (hopefully good reasons) they decided to implement it and I'll just have to work around it!

If you google the problem there is usually a good answer on how to modify your settings.

Reset your security options.

In internet explorer, click tools and then the security tab

Lower your security a bit. I have mine at medium-high and do not get this warning on this site.

This has nothing to do with the Price Guide but everything to do with your "Personal PCGS".

This little puppy right here which allows me to change specific information about my account with PCGS such as my password and address.

It could be something to do with a patch....Tuesday, I believe, are MS patch days.
If there was a patch on Tuesday, it would show up on Weds.

I always have mine set on auto-download but then I have to install....I can't recall if I did install one this week though

I have been getting that pop-up everytime I go to check my submission since early this week. I, too, believe it is due to the latest MS patch.

In firefox I am getting an exclamation point on the little gold lock icon. It states that there is unauthenticated content on the page and that part of the page is not encrypted. Just started last night. I also noticed that PCGS changed something because I have to enter my e-mail address instead of user name.
