1911-D $2.50 Question about mintmarks

Does the weakly struck mintmark have less of a premium over a strong mintmark?
If so, how much would the price be affected? If not, why do TPG's label "Weak D" on the label?

a strong D will be worth more. some of those weak D's you can hardly see. I kind of remember seeing a very wead D not marked as a D on the holder. Probably do a search in the heritage archives to see what they are going for.

Strong Ds are worth a good deal more than their Weak D counterparts.
