First time poster (on the coin forum)
Hello everyone,
I wanted to start collecting coins for my two boys since they are fascinated with them. I have already started collecting for my daughter (Morgan-so that was easy to pick which coins to collect for her). Are there sets that you can recommend for younger kids to get into that will keep them going for years and years (both interest-wise and potentially return-wise).
Thanks,
Mark

It depends upon the kids. Have you asked them what they would be interested in?

I was trying to throw out feelers here and there, but I wanted to surprise them somewhat for Christmas morning. I'm very inexperienced when it comes to coins and the possibilities of what to collect out there seems infinite...
The only advice I have regarding children and coins is to put them to bed without dinner and charge them fifty cents for breakfast.

Get a Redbook, read it with them, and see what they like
There is no way to predict future "returns", just like in other area of investment.
Learn, Read, then collect. in that order.
............lincoln cents or how 'bout the prez bucks? just don't look for any return for the latter.

you may want to round the kids up and find a type set in set registry that has images and just let them watch as you keep hitting next coin

Feel free to review file footage from KDKA to see what happened to Cleveland fans in 3 Rivers during the late 70s that thought like that

Sorry! I was just having a little fun. My Dad was born near Pittsburgh. Despite the fact that I grew up in the Maryland suburbs of D.C., I am very familar with their deeds under the leadership of Terry Bradshaw and his favorite receiver, Lynn Swann. By the way, did you know that Swann took ballet to improve his performance?
