What kind of experience have you had on Sportlots.com

I just found this site and wanted to see what kind of experience folks had. Was the condition as described? Anybody never get their cards?

I've done at least 12 "finish up my moronic 80's sets" orders with them - had a positive experience every time!

hey Rube! they don't have a lot of vintage. it's really for finishing modern sets with commons!

It's a great site. The only problem that I have is that they tape EVERYTHING. They even tape the tape so the tape won't come loose. It seems like every seller is this way.

I've been 100% satisfied. Good site for filling out sets.

Most sellers ship you the card in a top loader (taped, as mentioned above) in a PWE. Response time is usually fast.

I've had mostly good experiences with sportlots. Sometimes I've ordered multiple quantities of a card, and only received one of each card that I ordered. Usually the seller will send the missing cards after I have contacted them. One time I got no response from the seller or from sportlots, so I did a partial charge dispute through paypal and sportlots credited me the amount in dispute. So it's been good overall. When placing an order, make sure to check the sellers shipping charges and try to limit the number of sellers on each order, because each seller has their own shipping charge (for example if you order 3 10 cent commons, but from 3 different sellers you might end up paying 30 cents for the cards and $5 for shipping). Quality in the newer singles is usually pretty good.

I've had 104 transactions dating back to January 2006 on this site as a buyer. A great site. You'll get some sellers who'll test the limits of the word "Near Mint" at times, but they usually will refund you if you're not happy. I keep track of who I deal with, so if I'm not happy, I don't do business with them again.

I've used this site to fill holes in modern sets, as well as to pick up low pop cards I need graded examples of for my registries. I've gotten 10s from some of these transactions, so there's good stuff out there if you've got the time and the grading eye to look for it.

I bought my 2008 Goudey Tiger Woods Sports Royalty card for $10 off the site, it graded a PSA 10 and flipped it for $105, so, yeah, I've had good experiences.
