Is anyone collecting platinum to build a registry set or series set?

What coins belong in either set to qualify ?

Why send to PCGS or other and grade. If you look through a loupe and under magnification you have a great coin why bother?

    I just bought my first one from the mint, and will send it in to pcgs if its not beat up, but to put in my registry type set, not a Plat set.

    Not every plat is a great coin.

    The veterans know to buy plats early and often, 'cause later *might* be retreads.
