It's pretty. No idea as to AT or NT though.
  • I'll say AU and NT.

I'll say AU58 and POSSIBLY MS70 toned, but still attractive to me regardless.

A beautiful toned coin. If I owned it, I'd get it put in PCGS plastic to both "authenticate the toning" (I think NT BTW) and protect the little gem. Fantastic coin. Where did you find it?

AU50 I say it gets bagged.

  • AU58. A litle too much purple before the light blue as if it's been helped by something. Might still technically be NT though. Might slab.

That's one of those cents that sell easily in plastic, but not as a raw piece.

Very pretty; toning looks entirely plausible to me...

It looks like an attractive coin, but copper is not my field. Dr Greg made a lot of these with ms70 and managed to fool the services for quite some time, which sadly means your coin will be highly scrutinized by the tpg's. image

Here is the same photo just as it came from the camera. The first set of photos were done on photoshop by using the control B to enhance colors.

Nice pics, purdy Cent. I'd buy it if I saw it in a case.

Must say that I like the look of that one. And, wouldn't be surprised if it took a couple submissions to get her slabbed. Seems there is tremendous reluctance to slab toners these days....

The popular opinion on this one might be AT because it has the blue/purple of an MS70 dipped coin. The thing with this one is that the blue/purple is only on the peripheral of the coin and on both obverse and reverse. The color also goes from purple/blue to red which you won't see in an MS70 coin. My opinion is that it is gorgeous and NT.

that's been treated with ms70 and I agree it's AU. It still is cool looking though.
  • Not too familiar w/ toning on copper, but since the toning is inside the letters and not on top it would surprise me if it were AT... seems like something hard to achieve with dipping which would likely produce more even toning. Could have been AT, then "circulated" in a tumbler tho. Some of these people are quite ingenious...

  • Good shot at slabbing.

Can't rule out AT but it looks to me like natural album toning.
