Wish this were my submission

This would have been a nice submission, imho....
Considering a lot that I looked at on the shared submission page, as well as what I just experienced, this is pretty good.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

<< <i>Looks like they spent about $100 on a small amount of overpriced plastic that could have been spent on coins or numismatic literature or anything else useful. >>
At the level of those coins, I would spend $100 to put them in new/nice looking plastic anyday.
Some people are so anti slab it's funny. Without being in their shoes, I won't make a snobbish statement like that (maybe the holders were all scratched and they are going to be sold soon, who knows?)

So, what you're saying is he decided to replace expensive scratched plastic with different expensive prone-to-scratched plastic by a new submission/resubmission/crossover rather than just reholdering, and/or that he is scared that his coins will not sell themselves and need the slabs for purposes of hype?

So many people on these boards like to have a "holier than thou" type of attitude. Not everyone has the same forces moving them. What is expensive to me, is chump change to many others. What is chump change to me is expensive to others.
If someone wants new plastic, then fine. If someone wants to submit and go for crossovers, then fine. If someone doesn't like a crack in a piece of plastic, then they can do what they want. Their money, not mine.
Again, I think those coins would be awesome to have, esp at those levels, and I wouldn't mind having them and would gladly pay $100 if the plastic sucked ... or whatever it cost for the reholder
