PCGS has graded 2 MS68 (1-1924, 1-1925), and 180 MS67's
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector. Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.
I had placed both the 1924 and 1925 Peace Dollars in PCGS MS68 back in 1995 or 1996. The 1925 is the nicest Peace Dollar I have ever seen with more strike detail then I thought possible on a Peace Dollar....actually has as much detail as a proof and absolutely a no questions MS68.
The 1924, which was graded in 1995 or 1996 was (IMHO) overgraded especially when placed next to the 1925............I have seen other MS67 that were just as clean and well struck as the 1924......
Of all the coins I have placed over the last 20+ years the 1925 in MS68 continues to be on my list of the top 50 coins that I have had the privilege to handle.................

Oh wait, that was graded by SGS, or was it USCG....

That must have been memorable to say the least. I would love to see some images of that '25.

I lost track of the 1925 coin a few years back but I believe that it is now part of the "California I" set that is blocked from view.
I know that both PEACEMAN and WMGILLEY were offered both the 1924 and 1925 coins by me back in mid to late 1996 but neither ever owned these coins to my knowledge...................
Of course there has, the real question should be has there ever been a peace dollar graded MS70 by a reputable TPG. There are none from the top tier TPG's.
