Tonights Teletrade seems just a bit out of line with current trends and I can only speculate that these represet sellers buy back bids.

1971-S ANACS PF69 CAM - Toner

1972 Type 1 OCGS MS64 - Supposed "toner"

This One got me to thinking that the coin has actually been penalized for the toning/haze. I suppose its difficult to tell if there are any hairlines from the photo but typically, this toning occurs in the OGP.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

The name is LEE!

  • "Current trends" are set by current purchases.

It is health that is real wealth, not pieces of gold and silver. Gandhi.

I collect all 20th century series except gold including those series that ended there.

Wow!~ The 71 Sold for $320! image I'm very surprised! Even more so at the grade since the photo does not show any evidence of mirroring on the obverse:

That is usually a grade limiter for these modern proof coins.

The colors one it are much more vibrant than the picture. - all the pics in that auction are too dark/subdued and do not show color properly. They went from too much light to too little; go figure.

I just got licence to Dream yo. Here's da story. I got $20 in Powerball tickets - someone from Delaware just split a $173 Mill pot with a winning PA ticket. MY ritual involves NOT checking my tickets for a long long time. Why? Well, if I don't check them for a while, the possibility of me being the winner lives on - right? If I check them right away, the dream dies, right?

OK so I choose to live with my head in the sand. image The dream is mine and I want to enjoy it as long as possible. image

Anyway, if I did win, I'd be wanting a complete set of Pan-Pac Coins. You know, the ones in original packaging. And also, a really nice full strike 1921 Peace Dollar. Probably a Proof example in 67 or 68 would do. image

Thems it ! My Dream Coins.

PS I don't like 1804 dollars or 1913 Nickels. However a really cool 1794 Flowing Hair Dollar sure would be nice. OK Albanese, throw that one on my want list also. image
