  • According to The Charlton Canadian Baseball Card Price Guide, there are four series.
    1-393, 394-523, 524-643, 644-752.
This is also confirmed in Canadian Sportscard Collector magazine, which says the series four short prints that exist in the Topps set, also exist in the OPC set.
Not definitive, but I hope this helps.

Most becketts group late 60's, early 70's cards by price not by series.

I'm pretty sure there are 6 series as I have a 1989 SCD price guide with a section about unopened packs and they indicate that there are 6 series for 1971 with the first 2 series combined in the first issue of packs. I also have photos of most of the 71 OPC uncut (half) sheets and cards 1- 263 are combined and the 5th series sheet shows cards 524 thru 643 (120 cards plus a DP checklist plus 11 cards double printed, including Tony Perez and Willie Mays), just like Topps

P.S. sorry it's hard to follow, trying to watch 2 games, answer all my 8 year olds questions about the baseball game and type image

maybe pictures would help, cards 394 thru 523, notice the Ron Hunt card in the upper right corner, replaced the coin checklist from the topps printing

nolan ryan is in the 2 column, 3rd row downimage

Cards 524 thru 643 I think, series 5 cards but most likely the 4th issuance of unopened stuff, top row is DP (same as 10th row)
