2008 Topps Chrome Football case break...

While I am mostly a vintage collector these days, I like to order a case of modern football at least once a year to get my rip fix. I thought I would share my results for those thinking about cracking some of this product or those who just like to play along at home.

Set includes: Art Donovan, Chuck Bednarik, Gino Marchetti, Johnny McNally, Lou Groza, Norm Van Brocklin, Rocky Bleier, Roger Staubach, & Tom Fears.
NFL Honor Roll Military Patch Relic (1:4,135 packs)
1 - 82nd Airborne
I also pulled two redemption cards for a Jake Long and a Fred Davis "Certified Autographed Rookie Case Variations", but I am unsure if these are the regular, refractor, or relic versions.
Overall... even at a bargain price this case appears to be a money loser with the biggest hits being the Matt Forte auto, NFL Honor Military Relic Patch, and perhaps the Andre Caldwell if the speculators are biting.
That said, this was a pretty fun mid-range product rip that was loaded with inserts and the design has really grown on me since I first saw it. I will likely finish putting together the base set and sell off or trade everything else... probably sitting on the autos to see if any of these guys pan out in the future and help me recoup some of my cash.
I tried to scan at least one of everything I pulled to give you a good flavor of the product.
