1798 Large Cent attribution help please

You guys did such a great job for agentjim, I was wondering if you could do the same with my lousy scans:

Could be S-165, but I only took a quick look.

I'm thinking S-165, too. Type II hair and Large 8. Missing the reverse arc crack and the leaves below T of CENT look to be free. If not a S-165, then it would be S-166.

I've only really got Penny Whimsy and the RSB1 catalog for attribution, so hopefully some others chime in...

I think it is 165 due to Large 8, Style II hair, and placement of leaves below T in cent. Also the Y in Liberty appears to be wide and low.

Really need to get better scans if you want it correctly attributed.

It must be Sheldon's "Group 5" with large 8's and Style 2 hair,
which would make it either 165, 166, or 167. Since it doesn't
have the arc crack seen on 166, that would leave two. I'm
thinking S-167 because of what looks like the vertical crack
through the final "8" in the date, but I could be wrong, it may
be 165. Between the pictures and the wear, it's kind of hard
to tell.
