Fantasy Football Help!

Okay my starter is Tony Romo, backup is Chad Pennington.
Derek Anderson is available off waivers.
Any suggestions?
This is a big game this weeks since I am in first place and playing against my son...lots of bragging rights at stake.

Thanks!

  • Cowboys may be posturing, but it looks like Romo will play. Wade said today what Jerry wants he is game with, Jerry seemed to indicate Friday that Romo would play.

Anderson kicked it last week....but I don't think he will this week, he has been terrible all year. I would go Romo, and pay attention if he gets the start....switch out Pennington it needed. Pennington and Anderson is kind of a coin toss.

I have better advise at RB. Colts back up Rhodes is starting and the Steelers backup, Mewelde Moore, is starting. At least one was available in almost all the leagues I am in...and both will be good starts. Rhodes the better.

I think Anderson is waking up. I would go with him this week. You can't bet the house on a QB that might only go a quarter or so.

I picked up Rhodes last Sunday cause I had Addai...Im hoping that pays off.

  • The Dallas Morning News is reporting that Jerry Jones said Romo will be active but will not start.

Judging on the game last week I think I would try Anderson- even if Romo sees the field ( Which I dont think will happen ) all it will take is one little hit on that finger and he will be done, I cant see the Cowboys even playing around with that. Forget Pennington IMO..

Thanks for the input guys....I just saw Romo is active but not starting. With Felix Jones out Marion Barber should tear it up for me so that will help.
Derek Anderson it is. Wow, I actually have to root for a Cleveland Browns player! image

With Pennington going against the Ravens I think you made the best choice, Stallworth is just getting back so that should take some of the pressure of Edwards although he has to STOP dropping balls!
  • Anderson is going against the Redskins who has allowed only 6 passing TDs all year and Anderson has only completed 50% of his passes....with that great Monday Night Football game. So he is by far from a good run himself. But the more I think about it, I guess I would rather have Anderson on my bench then Pennington, as he does have one of the top receivers and tight ends.

Good luck to all the FF players,

  • Well Pennington had a pretty good game and Anderson is completely sucking. Sorry I didn't stress my opinion more forceful and let popular opinion on the board sway me.

My RB picks are/did kick it though.

Silly me to go on what happened last week with the Brownies moving the ball like USC does. This type of thing about the NFL freakin' enrages me, so inconsistent- I am so glad I scoff at betting on the NFL.

Edit- Sorry for advising you to go with Anderson.
