I own two silver coins that when added together have a face value of 6 cents. One of them is not a 3 cent silver coin. Neither coin was produced between the years 1942 through 1945.

What are my 2 coins?

Neither coin is a half dime ( forgot about those little things).

You didn't say silver metal or color. One is a three cent nickel (silver color) and the other one is three cent (silver metal).

The way I heard the riddle was I have two coins that equal 30 cents--one is not a nickel (which would be the quarter) the other one is the nickel. I think the same riddle just mixed up.

The metal is silver as well as silver in color.
