I own two silver coins that when added together have a face value of 6 cents. One of them is not a 3 cent silver coin. Neither coin was produced between the years 1942 through 1945.
What are my 2 coins?

Neither coin is a half dime ( forgot about those little things).

<< <i>The other one is a three cent. >>
Explain how that would work to equal 6 cents?
The way I heard the riddle was I have two coins that equal 30 cents--one is not a nickel (which would be the quarter) the other one is the nickel. I think the same riddle just mixed up.

We have a winner, too easy considering my screen name.
Stone was on the right track.
