Dutch Treat?

so, i was going thru my '77 Topps Basketball cards and trying ever so mightily to upgrade the current selection in my set from the 90/10 centering to something more 80/20ish, but mostly no go, so on i trudge when suddenly, like a beam of light from the Heavens (notice i capped the H), i stumble across something perhaps unique, and at the same time perhaps, stupid, but here i am to share and seek the opinions of you, the members of this esteemed forum, where questions like the ones i'm eventually gonna ask may soon be answered.......
......ok, so i'm working on the set, and now it's time for card #92 Swen Nater, and i have 3 to choose from and one of 'em has that 90/10 going on, so forget it........this next one here looks a bit better, but the corners are kinda dinged, take a look......
so then i pull up the last one hoping for a better looking card with a bit more character to it, because i really wanna build me a nice beautiful, raw 1977 Topps Basketball set (never gonna happen), and instead i find this.........?
what happened to my black lines? where's my team name? BUFFALO
everything else about this card seems pretty much the same, well, the basketball can't seem to decide what it wants to be.
in all seriousness, is this a variation, does anyone know? or am i just grasping at straws, here?
regardless of it's disposition, i am very proud of this special find and i intend to make it the centerpiece of my collection, at least for a few minutes. i may even send it in for grading.
any help would be appreciated. thanks.
