I'm really scared! What would you do if Longacre started collecting what you collect!!

MadMartyMadMarty Posts: 16,697 ✭✭✭
The highly esteemed collector Mr. Longacre has set his sights on French Art Medals! The same ones like I collect. I find this highly disturbing, not that he has an eye for medals, but that he has his eyes on MY medals!!! The ones I like to chase on E-Bay! I'm really afraid I will never get another medal again! He's the big doggie! Someone help me; get him interested in Civil War Tokens, Store Tokens, So Called Dollars, or MODERNS.... Anything! Just keep him away from my medals!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

I've actually given this thought. If Longacre or Ryk started on half dimes in my range of interest with any fervor I'd be screwed. It's bad enough having to compete with the likes of Barndog and MrHalfDime from time to time. image

I'm just glad Longacre is still scared of colonials!
  • Marty... I don't think you really have a thing to worry about.

Considering his recent threads, with all these ways he seems to be thinking up on how to either not come to the Coinfest (right in his goshdarn backyard already) or how he is gonna mess the trip up in some way... a pack of lil ones and/or some non-collecting friend...

    ...frankly, I'm beginning to think he's a "wanna-be"... image

...come on, Longacre...tell us it ain't so... image

I think we need to remind Longacre that there are numerous medals struck by Tiffany. And I think he'd want to stay as far away from those as possible, lest Mrs. Longacre start taking the numismatic funds for herself. Best to just stay away from all medals.

I'm sorry Chris... I couldn't help it... I read your post and started to chuckle...

The "Lock" symbol at the top of each message block is a way to PM someone. Click on the lock inside a message box from someone you want to PM and a new box will pop up on the screen for your message...

There's more to it but that should get you started... image

Don't forget - Longacre "slaves for The Man", which means he's on salary (and bonus + stock options, etc.).

If he were at a law firm (and billing hourly), then he'd be The Man!
