On the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, October 18th and 19th the Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association and the Willamette Coin Club will be hosting a two-day coin show. It’s being held at the Lloyd Center Doubletree Hotel (formerly Red Lion). The address is 1000 N.E. Multnomah St., Portland, OR. The hours are from 10AM to 6PM on Saturday, and 10AM to 4PM on Sunday. There is an admission charge. Parking is convenient at the hotel garage next to the coin show, on the street, or nearby at the Lloyd Center.

Thanks
Last time is was about 2 bucks to get in.
FYI for all those that park at the LLoyd center mall parking, be careful, walk into the mall and out another door. If security sees you walk from your car to another location, you'll be ticketed.

Park in the Doubletree parking garage adjacent to the coin show. When paying your $2 admission fee, be sure to ask for a parking ticket giving all day parking for only $3. It is used when exiting the parking garage. No in and out privilege.
Hope to see many of you there Saturday.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Usually this show is almost as good as the PNNA show. Worth the drive possibly. I'm coming from 200 out.

Wife has to work tomorrow and my son has a soccer game. I have to prioritize and he wins.
That and the long drive take me out of the show.

This is the next best show to the April PNNA in Seattle (Tukwila) IMHO, and I would encourage any one in the Northwest to try to make the show!

Mozin did WTCG ever find you? WTCG, PonyExpress and myself were talking about you and no one knew where to find you. Put a sign up next time.
EDIT to Add: T-Big.....Where were you? Maybe I was just blind and did not see you.
Now on to the show. It was very nice for me. Sold some stuff that was not needed and bought some stuff that was really needed. Seven dimes came home with me. Four Mercury Dimes for the AU set that has been worked on for 4 or 5 years. A 17D, 19S, 23S and 28D. Tough coins in AU. REAL AU that is. The other 3 coins were Roosevelts. One of them, the 46S, looks like it might be the S/S/S/S type which is also a DD type. I need someone with better eyes than me to confirm this though. The 49D that was purchased sure looks like a 67 to me. Maybe it will get a trip to Newport Beach.
The show seemed busy enough to me. People were not lined up at tables but the dealers seemed to have people coming and going constantly. I actually saw a dealer at the show that I have not seen since he closed his shop in Tigard years ago. His name is Steve Estes. Anyone heard of him before. Also many new dealers were present since the last time I went to this show. One out of California had tons of coins but his prices were just a little toooo steep.
Anyway it was a nice show and was fun to meet a couple of new people and shake the hands of older dealers that have been known for years. Fun Day and a Nice Day in Portland without RAIN.
Thanks Guys.

I spent most of my time Friday and Saturday moving around the bourse floor, helping here, helping there... It was nice to spend time talking with lots of dealers and collectors. I did not find any Busties that I liked at prices I could handle. There were lots of raw pieces, not much in TPG holders. Dealers seemed well aware that their Busties were in high demand.
Sorry I missed connecting with you other forum members. Next time, we should post some pictures of ourselves just prior to attending the show.
