Actual gold weight in Pahlavi gold coins?

Is the gold weight in a 1/2 Pahlavi really .1308 oz? Or is that the weight for .900 gold, and not pure gold.

The term "actual gold weight" refers to the pure gold weight?

Thank you so much silvereagle. I think the ebay auction was being a bit disingenuous by stating it was .1308 oz of gold. Yes, but not of pure gold.

I will look for AGW for now on as far as gold weight is concerned.

One great thing about the Krause catalogues is they give the ASW and AGW for coins. Very usefull IMO.

That's a good thing about Krause. I guess this makes older Krause catalogs worth keeping even though the price guide aspect of it quickly gets outdated.
