Adam Schefter at NFL.com tells it like it is about the Cowboys

About damn time

As hard as this is, it must be done. There is little choice. But the incessant updates on Tony Romo’s pinkie, Adam “Pacman” Jones’ brain, Roy Williams’ heart, Terrell Owens’ ego, and Jerry Jones’ wallet must be stopped. If only for a few moments.

Football fans must know there are so many other storylines worthy of the attention devoted to Big D.

After five games, the Tennessee Titans and their terrific defense are the lone remaining unbeaten team.

To date, the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers have lost only one game, and look as tough as any team in the league.

Surprisingly, the Arizona Cardinals are in first place, which is the last place we’re used to seeing them.

The way Saints quarterback Drew Brees is throwing the football, he now is on pace to take a paper shredder to the NFL record book.

Falcons rookie quarterback Matt Ryan has proven Atlanta absolutely made the right pick, while giving hope to that city not only for this season, but for the next dozen.

OK, with that out of the way, we now send you back to Valley Ranch to a drama even bigger than the Cowboys offensive line.

America’s Team can go back to taking up America’s time.

Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing about. -Benjamin Franklin-

Hey, the Cowgirls have not won jack since the Emmitt Smith days, but it is soap opera drama that makes headlines until the Playoffs. So let Eli Manning toil in obscurity (outside of NY, of course) until he sneaks out another Super Bowl win.

It's been 11 years since the Cowboys won a playoff game. Why are we even talking about them.
