Grades Popped - 1976 Topps Football

N1: EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING 1976 TOPPS 158 RANDY WHITE
N1: EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING 1976 TOPPS 231 JOE THEISMANN
N1: EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING 1976 TOPPS 220 JACK LAMBERT
N1: EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING 1976 TOPPS 480 MEL BLOUNT
N1: EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING 1976 TOPPS 450 CHARLEY TAYLOR
N1: EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING 1976 TOPPS 89 CHARLIE JOINER
N1: EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING 1976 TOPPS 75 TERRY BRADSHAW

I measured every one of these cards. A couple of them where noticeably longer then normal, but none of them measured short.
I supplied large scans for your opinions. Is this just a case of pop report politics? I appreciate your help.

    could they be sheet cut?
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

I agree possibly sheet cut, also I believe it's possible that the graders can see the difference between card edges cut at the factory and cut later with a razor blade or whatever. The edges on these look like some sheet cut cards I've seen.

Also not all trimmed cards are oversized.

If you got them yourself from a pack, maybe try resubmitting. If you bought them as nm/mt you're probably stuck with them.

I am sorry but I agree with PSA. Those cards look funky. You can really tell if they are trimmed by looking at the t/b "grain" and comparing it to a 1976 PSA 6 ( after cracking it out). chaz

It's really hard to tell anything from a scan, but the left edge on the Randy White looks beveled.
