Ok coin men,I am a non sports card guy so I am at your mercy here. I need some information about a coin issued in 1953.My wife told me a story about her grandfather bought her either a silver $10 OR a silver $5...... Which one would have been issued in 1953 and how much would either 1 cost me? Tony

Canada's Twoonie ($2 coin) has been in circulation since 1996.
Canada did issue gold $5 & $10 coins in 1912-14,& silver $5 & $10 medal-coins in 1973-76 to commemorate the Olympic Games at Montreal,Quebec.
