Holy crap. Bizarre Feedback. I never noticed.

I just bought a card from paramagyc on ebay. It was an SGC 88 1969 Mantle. I haven't paid for it yet. It was sold like 3 weeks ago and it was back up again, so I bought it. I guess the first sale did not go through. He has 100% feedback until you go into his feedback?---his feedback seemed terrible. Can anyone give me some advice on how to go ahead with this if at all. Now I wonder how the first sale went on the card. Thanks in advance.

Very nice Mantle. Doesn't seem like a scam to me, even though you're right about the DSR's

    Link to Previous Sale?

It's really puzzling to me how this guy has 100% feedback with such crappy DSR scores.

The buyers, apparently, were very pleased with the description of their items and didn't let the "poor communication",
"slow shipping" and "unreasonable shipping/handling costs" bother them enough to warrant a neutral or neg.

I hate when sellers take crappy pics .... it bothers me a little that he didn't frame the entire card in at least one pic.

Is the auction that I linked the other one you're talking about?

I couldn't find any others? Yours?

All in all, if you really want it, I'd definitely pay with a CC and plan to wait for your card.

I'm at work, I can't access EBAY. It seems as though the feedback says 100% for 12 months. After that the feedback is crappy.

Actually, it looks like his current feedbacks are much improved over his Oct 2007 and prior Old Feedbacks.

    Maybe I'm missing something here???

My initial post was that I was concerned that the card sold about 3 weeks ago to a bidder with 200 or something feedback and the card came back up for sale. I got confused when EBAY shows 100% feedback. It is referring to the past 12 months. Prior to that the seller has some horrendous negatives. You have to go into detailed feedback and say you want to see 200 feedbacks on each page and you will see the story. I always do my homework but the 100% by no means is 100% feedback. I'm wondering how many of us actually knew this 12 month thing. A guy could have only 1 transaction for 12 months and it be positive. But have 200 transactions with about 25 negs and neut. prior to the year and the feedback will read 100% with 201 transactions---that is bull crap. I will pay by credit card.

Do you guys think I'll receive the card? I paid by credit card. I emailed the seller for the shipping info and nothing so far. My gut feeling was telling me not to bid, but I'm addicted to the drug called Mantle cards. I will update if and when I get the card.

I would think the thing to worry about is the feedback NOT received. It doesnt look like hes been doing much in the past few months and most of his FB is before eBay put in the no seller neg rule. A lot of his neuts and even some of his pos feedback might have been negs had the buyers not potentially been worried about retaliation FB
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY
  • Seller needs a scanner........I will end my rant there.......cause it would go on for a while...
