Question about submitting cards under the Registry Special

I have what may be a silly question. There is a registry special right now where cards valued under $100 can be submitted for a $6 grading fee. What method do you use to determine if your card is worth $100 or less? Beckett, Tuff Stuff, SMR? For example if I'm expecting an 8 it could come back a 7 or 9 which would greatly change the value of the card.

Obviously I'm not going to send in my Ryan rookie under the special but what about a 76 or 78 Ryan? What about a 73 or 74?

Thanks for your help.

Rain you don't have to be exact, however at the same time you also have to value the cards for insurance purposes too.

    I use SMR.
