I just found the lone problem with the Rays' success :(

I now have to outbid other people to buy their cards!
Seriously, my entire Rays collection was bought for chump change compared to what some of the stuff is going for now. This is why I have focused on Rays for modern and Braves vintage.......Rays modern is (or was) way more affordable for a teenager than the Braves, due to the smaller fanbase and lack of household names. While it won't skyrocket to uncontrollable heights, it will probably hurt my win % when it comes to ebay auctions.

<< <i>Goot you should sell it all now and buy it back next year! Im not kidding either! >>
Trust me I've thought about dumping all of my Upton autos (his stuff has jumped the most) but I'm not sure I'd make enough money to really justify it all after fees, etc. Most of my stuff isn't exactly high end, so instead of me having $10 cards, they're currently $20 cards. Nice jump, but I don't have the volume to actually make a noticable profit.
However, I have already decided that it wouldn't take much for me to sell my bgs 9 Kaz rookie auto. I bought it while he was on the DL at the beginning of the year (talk about having faith in recovery) for about $25 and could get about 4x that (at least) after a big start.

I'm not sure of his best, because of all of the parallel versions and everything, but THIS is probably one of his best. It's from the same set as my Kazmir rookie auto that I talked about in my reply to Paul.

Imagine trading a Victor Zambrano rookie card for him

Hey Mike,
Upton is amazing for sure. I just bought this card
Upton
not autographed but numbered to 300 and actually books more than his Prospect Premieres autograph Rookie.
Besides Upton I would buy heavy into Longoria...scratch that...I would have bought heavy into him before the playoffs started. I bought his Bowman Chrome Autograph RC from 2006 for 100 even a little while back. Great card and a Great player.
