    I was talking with Dan last night via pm's. He told me he wouldn't be on the boards for a while.

    Due to the Giants loss to the Brownies last night he said he was ,quote "I'm putting on my Aikman jersey and my Cowboy hat and moving to big D"

    It seems like a rash decision to me but he was pretty intent on becomming a Cowboys fan. I just let him go .

    He'll probably get back to you in about 3 days.

    Wearing on any Cowboys jersey in Philadelphia will automatically get you 90 days in jail, bread and water only, hard labor. If there's a second offense, then the punishment really gets brutal..

    I know you guys are joking but to be honest it is a serious matter. I dont know if any of you saw but in the Sox thread MCMLVTopps made it public why he and Steve ( Winpitcher ) were arguing. It was about Shill bidding! Due to the fact that mcmlvtopps and I have the same avator Dan PM'ed me letting me know he was dissapointed with me about the shill bidding when IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ME!

    Obviously Dan misread it thinking it was me but I want him to know as soon as possible that he has the WRONG guy!

    Don't sweat it Paul. It was a misunderstanding. I really was talking with Dan last night.

    He probably will be on later tonight so you guys can straighten it all out.

    What happened was this:

    I created a thread when I was selling some boxing magazines. I was distressed that a 0 feedback
    bidder was the high bidder. Without soliciting him Roman numerlas guys PM's me and offers to
    shill the auction up so he would be the high bidder. I Pm'd him b ack and said no thanks, I have a few regular
    bidders that usually snipe so I'm not worried.

    Whoa ..... Lets get something straight. Paul and I are seasoned enough to get along quite fine with issues outside of Boston / New York sports. Paul is a top notch person. Too bad he has a huge flaw image

    You people packed more emotion into this thread than the Thorn Birds miniseries in its entirety. I laughed, I cried, I was at times transfixed, then I got distracted quite a bit thinking how great Rachael Ward looked in the Thorn Birds.
    All in all I give it a thumbs up. Nice storyline and some good plot twists.

    I find it highly ironic that the roman numeral guy is offering to shill bid an auction to essentially steal money out of the pockets of other bidders while in another thread he was going on and on at how the attitudes of guys like Manny Ramirez are a cancer to baseball because of his lack of integrity and selfishness.
