I've only bought a dino-lite and 1oz ASE 20th annv set (sold that recently).
I try to find stuff I want for prices I am ok with...haven't found the other 4 that I can do.

I do know that I wish certain people on the boards here (neither of the 2 above this post) would get the help to buy a clue something image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

In what way does it not work -

The same registration for EBAY and PAYPAL has to be the same perhaps this is the case ?
Perhaps different credit cards used for each place
    Just guessing here

I saved at least $300 since giving up my powerscrewer status and bought off site for coins, saving at least another $1000.

I'll post the photos later image
  • I bought :

    Garmin 545 charplotter ($569 -$171 = $398) these normally retail for $1015 , got a great deal!!!!

Garmin Bluechart g2 Vision card for Chartplotter above ( $332-$99 = $233) another great deal as these retail for $425

I was too distrustful to make use of this.

Me too. I am also annoyed at sellers who raise their prices, thus taking advantage of buyers because of this situation.

2 1994 Olympic Commem sets, $10.00 gold and 2 Silver Dollars in each...499.00 each - 125.00 cash back = 374.00 per set. I finally rcvd my CashBack after a long wait and several emails. So got almost an ounce of gold and 4 ounces of silver for 765 (shipping is the difference)...not too bad...I need gold to go up a few more ducats then I will sell them...

I can never find anything via the Live Search anymore...just junk....for some reason my original search back at the end of July produced better results...

That's a good one. Like the buyers have a gun to their head. Why shouldn't everyone get some MS money?

That is very funny, I actually had someone e-mail me and said," Why should I give you half of my MS rebate?" It sounds like I am forcing them to buy from me.image

Last I heard this is still a capitalist country but it is getting more like a communist country each and very day.image

The nice thing about being a buyer is that you don't have to buy if you don't like the price.

Nice avatar by the way. image

  • where do you see if it is pending or not?
  • I bought a 2008 3 Coin Bald Eagle Set. BIN was 379 - cashback 25% , Credit pending $ 92 in 51 more days. After reading all these posts I'm not optimistic that I'll ever see the cash. Now the problem is getting into ebay from the MS cashback site. I was trying to use it again but every search word I've tried only offers other online stores.

I don't get statements like this. How does a seller "take advantage" of a buyer when they raise their price IN A FREE MARKET (non-necessity items, buy it now, and with competitors everywhere)?????

No one took advantage of anyone. If the price was raised, and you didn't like it and it wasn't a good deal, move on. Or, is it your god given right to set the prices?
I'm more a buyer than a seller, but when I see comments like the above, I shake my head and wonder why darwinism doesn't always win out.

As for the distrustful part....Adam, that is your right. Some folks appear to have gotten burned. Many of us got paid, however, and it has been a good thing.

Yeah, never owned one before and always sort of wanted to have one... would prefer better condition, but for less than face it was a no brainer. Figure I'll keep it awhile, show it off a bit, and then probably spend it on a coin at a coin show sometime (to an appreciating dealer). image

Worst case, I could always just take it to the bank and deposit it image just kidding, would rather sell it to another collector of course...
