#10 Lincoln Cent "With Varieties" Set Retired

You know, I never really saw myself as a "here today, gone tomorrow" kind of collector, which is why the decision to sell my beloved mint state Lincolns came as such a surprize to me. But then it hit me, I have had SO MUCH FUN building this set over the past four or five years, and having reached the point where small improvements occur over a much greater timescale and cost, I saw the fun coming to a close.

So let it be known, I am addicted to the thrill of BIG changes in SHORT periods of time.

That being said, as I am dependent on a regular income, raising a family, and being drawn to collecting, I have decided to let go of my beloved cents so that I can pursue other numismatic adventures. Of course I'll be keeping some of my peculiar favorites, but the vast majority are simply for sale, the proceeds of which will be used to complete an ambitious set of Matte Proof Lincolns, and later to work on another unfinished set from my childhood, US Copper, Nickel, and Silver Type, but this time in high grade PCGS plastic. Who knows? I am really starting to appreciate proofs. Perhaps a proof-only type set will be the thing for me.

So for now, I will direct you to my thread on the BST forum where you can find a list of coins already sold, and you can compare those to my entire retired set, linked below in my signature line.

Of course, if you have any interest in any of the available coins, feel free to PM.

Sorry to hear you're leaving Lincolns Matt, but I can understand because it happened
    to me.
Stay away from Copper, Nickel, Silver type,,,unless you've taken courses in treating ulcers!
If you think the Lincolns were slow, prepare yourself. The CNS set is like describing the
Universe, except you have to give TWO examples!!

After the Mattes, I was actually thinking of starting off with something easy, like the Basic US Design Set, No Gold. It's only 40 coins, and actually possible to complete within a year or two.
