In Philadelphia 23.9% of TV households were tuned in to game 1 while in LA only 9.4% tuned in.
Is this because of that laid back disinterested California attitude that we hear about?

it's cause Cali is a paradise where they have more to do than in the northeast in the fall.

Not really. You gotta remember that the LA area has close to 15 million people and has lots of diverse cultures and ethnicities not to mention there was still a NFL game on at the time. It doesn't truly reflect anything and it doesn't say LA is a weak sportstown or anything like that. 9.4% of LA is still a fairly large number. I've always been skeptical of how the do tv ratings anyway.

I forgot to mention that one...I live in a cooler area near the beach and it was still 68 degrees and sunny yesterday and was in the 80's everywhere else. Way too much to do out here.
Besides, Pennsylvanians are true sports fans
